Construction on the next multi-level freeway-to-freeway interchange in metro Phoenix will began in November. The State Transportation Board awarded a $133 million contract to build an interchange at Loop 303 and Interstate 10 near Cotton Lane in Goodyear. Pulice Construction Inc., of Phoenix, was awarded the work. The interchange is expected to be open to traffic in mid-2014.
The project will include elevated ramps to directly connect the I-10 and Loop 303. The Interstate will be slightly aligned as it travels beneath the new interchange, ADOT said. The interchange will connect with improved six-lane segments of Loop 303 that also will be under construction between Thomas Road and Grand Avenue over the next three years.

I-10 eastbound narrowed to one lane between Perryville Road and Sarival Avenue from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 8:30 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 10) for temporary striping. All ramps at Cotton Lane will remain open.
